Welcome

Florham Park is a community built on volunteerism. The Florham Park Environmental Commission embodies this spirit of community as it strives to enhance the town’s natural resources.

The Commission was created in 1999 for the protection, development and use of the borough’s natural resources. The Commission helps research and evaluate local environmental issues and initiates programs to increase environmental public awareness.

There are many community initiatives taking place – all with the objective of enhancing quality of life here in town. From cleaning up local lakes to creating pocket parks and organizing educational events, the Commission works with town leadership to uphold environmental values.

Stay informed and get involved: attend a meeting, enjoy a sponsored event, or donate a few hours to help our efforts. If you’re interested in getting involved, feel free to send us an email.
